Nahid's Shawarma

If you’re craving on a budget friendly shawarma and kebabs, this is the go-to place. I don’t believe in the word “authentic” when it comes to food because there’s so many different versions and recipes depending on the location and availability of spices. This place offers so much more when it comes to variety, I highly recommend the chelo kebabs and beef/chicken shawarma rice, also the yogurt shake is fine. Taste is subjective, for me it’s the best and a bang for the buck.

Chelo kebab was good. Would have preferred the garlic chopped finer. i think it was also grilled instead of fried like in other restaurants. Hummus lacks body and rich texture but taste was acceptable for the price. Garlic yoghurt sauce tastes natural. Serving was generous. My only concern is the sanitation. Saw some cockroaches roaming around which would be difficult to avoid since the place is an open hole-in-the-wall in a depressed neighborhood. Still, they should do something about it. Overall, the food was good for the price.

Chicken biryani and mixed chello rice recommended, liked their garlic sauce as well topped generously over rice

The food is delicious but you'll need to wait for a while as they have a lot of customers lately after they went viral. The atmosphere/place is a bit snug and hot. It's a small place so you do takeaway for convenience.

One of my favorite kebab places in the metro. I ordered mixed chelo and and a shawarma wrapped while my partner ordered shawarma plater. We even had their signsture yogurt drink. Food was very authentic but affordable same taste as if you travel to middle east. But for the place dont expect too much since the store was in a busy road side no air conditioning store was old and needs renovation. No parking space so if you come and visit the place make sure to look for traffic enforcers before you park to avoid being ticket for illegal parking.

Affordable and quality meats serve with unlimited garlic sauce. Wide variety of mediterranean food. Street side parking only.

I'm making this review now due to the addition of their Pita Pizza. Imagine those cheap Pizza with a thin, slightly crisp crust and plenty of toppings. Cheesy and flavorful. This is available in 7 and 10 inch diameter options. The Shawarma has juicy beef chunks with good taste. I generally do not recommend having this to go as the Pita will get soaked in the juices. The spicy sauce has enough kick and is decent. The Hummus isn't extraordinary but it is satisfying. You can add maybe 2 more pieces of Pita to finish a plate of their Hummus. While we did not order this during the review, I highly recommend their beef Chello and Chicken Biryani.

Pay as you order. Good fast service. Providing Utensil, glass and pitcher of water. Tissue box on the table. Sauces are garlicky but too sweet for me and hot really hot sauce. Ordered beef chello kebab for php 200. Plenty of rice. Came back for beef shawarma platter. Meat cut in small pieces intended for shawarma.
